I build Bead Board from upstate NY. One person, not a company pretending to be one.

I started it after looking at what welding and fab shops had to choose from: generic job trackers that don't know the difference between a MIG run and a TIG root pass, or machine shop software retrofitted for fab work.

Small welding and fab shops deserve software built for them. Quote a job, snap a photo, track the hours, send the invoice, get paid. That's it. People deserve nice things: software that gets out of your way, works when you lose signal, and doesn't charge per seat.

Bead Board is my long-term project. I'm not flipping it, not chasing a round, not bolting on ERP or inventory management. The job is to make the simplest tool a welding shop can actually use, and keep it that way.

I answer my own support emails. If something's broken or missing, tell me and it gets on the list that day.
