Mobile + offline
Mobile welding job app that works offline
Bead Board is a native app on iPhone and Android that keeps working when you lose signal. Take job photos inside a metal building, clock hours from the field, and update a job status from a rural site. Everything syncs back when you get signal.
Offline is not a fallback, it is the default
Bead Board assumes you have no signal and treats connectivity as a bonus. Every read and every write happens locally first. The sync engine pushes changes when the phone finds a connection. You never stare at a spinner in a metal building.
Photos queue and upload later
Take a reference photo, an in-progress shot, or a completion photo. They attach to the job immediately on your phone and upload in the background when signal returns. No more forgetting to send photos from the camera roll.
Built for gloves, not keyboards
Clock in with one tap. Move a job status with a swipe. The whole thing was designed for a welder holding a phone with dirty gloves, not a project manager at a desk. If you have to type more than a few words to do something, we screwed up.

Questions welders keep asking
What happens to changes made offline?
They sync automatically when the phone reconnects. If two people edited the same job while offline, the sync engine merges the changes. You do not lose work.
Does the app work on iPad or tablet?
The iOS app runs on iPad. The Android app runs on Android tablets. The web app works on any browser. Most welders use their phone.
How much storage do job photos use on my phone?
Photos are uploaded to cloud storage and kept as thumbnails on the device. Your phone does not fill up with full-resolution job photos.
