Quoting

Welding quote software for small shops

Bead Board gives you a line-by-line quote builder with material markup, labor hours, and a PDF you can text to the customer from your truck. Duplicate a past job to quote similar work in minutes instead of starting from scratch.

Use it when the quote needs to answer

  • How much did we charge for that handrail last spring?
  • What is our markup on 2-inch schedule 40 pipe right now?
  • Can I text a PDF quote to the customer before I leave the job site?
  • How do I quote a repeat job without retyping every line item?

Every past line item is searchable

Type "handrail" and see every bracket, post, and cap you have ever priced. What you charged, when, and for who. No more flipping through old spreadsheets or texting the guy who quoted it last time.

Update steel prices once, every quote gets it

Keep a price list with your go-to materials. When steel goes up, change the number once. Every new quote pulls the right price with your markup already baked in. No math on the tailgate.

Send the PDF from the truck

Hit share, pick the customer's number, done. They get a PDF with your logo, line items, and total before you leave the driveway. No laptop, no printer, no "I'll send it when I get back to the shop."

Not built for

  • Full accounting or invoicing
  • Purchase orders or procurement
  • WPS/PQR compliance documents
  • Multi-phase commercial bids

Questions welders keep asking

Can I duplicate a past job to quote similar work?

Yes. Open any past job and duplicate it. The line items, descriptions, and material carry over. Adjust the quantities and prices for the new job and send it.

Does Bead Board handle invoicing?

Bead Board generates quote and invoice PDFs you can share with the customer. Most shops enter the final number into QuickBooks or their accountant's system. We are not trying to replace your bookkeeper.

Can the customer see the quote online?

Not yet. Right now you share a PDF. A customer-facing quote link is on the roadmap but we are shipping the simple thing first.

Try it for two weeks. No card.

$99 flat after the trial. Unlimited users, unlimited jobs, unlimited photos.
